Turtle S.H.E.L.L. Tortue, in conjunction with Western Sign & Line Painting Ltd., designed a Turtle Crossing sign for installation at known turtle crossing sites.

Guidelines for the installation of these highway signs have been prepared by Turtle S.H.E.L.L. Tortue which is available for those who believe that there is a need for signs in their communities.

Through the generosity of The Friends of the Environment Foundation, Ottawa Chapter, Turtle S.H.E.L.L. Tortue has expanded its Turtle Care Centre for injured and rescued turtles, where they are treated, rehabilitated and then released back into their original habitat.
