Stories from The Turtle Rehabilitation Centre
September 7, 2006. - Festus a Snapping turtle was brought in to the Centre, weighing 9.11Kg, with a broken and displace of the right upper part of the carapace, and bleeding from the mouth.
June 10, 2007 - Festus was released weighing 13.6Kg with tag # 13363618, it took Festus 1 hour and a lot of coaching to finally walk towards the Ottawa river, below are the pictures from Festus.
